Spindletop's long range plans are to strategically grow the company through good quality, high potential drilling projects and select acquisitions. In the short term, Spindletop's plans are to continue to look at revenue-enhancing ways to bring value to the bottom line.
Spindletop is engaged in the exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in North America. Spindletop knows that a well balanced formula of acquisitions and exploration and development drilling is the key to success.
The company also holds interests in commercial real estate and gas gathering. Subsidiaries include Prairie Pipeline Co. and Spindletop Drilling Company.

Mr. Mazzini has been active in the energy industry since 1978. Mr. Mazzini has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Texas, and he is a Certified Petroleum Geologist as well as a Licensed Professional Geoscientist. Mr. Mazzini is also the President and founder of Giant Energy Corp., the parent company of Spindletop. Mr. Mazzini has been President of Spindletop since purchasing the company in December of 1999.
Vice-President, General Counsel, and Director
Ms. Mazzini has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Southwestern Louisiana where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1985. Ms. Mazzini also has a law degree from the Louisiana State University where she graduated Order of the Coif in 1988. Ms. Mazzini began her career with Thompson & Knight, a large law firm in Dallas where her practice focused on general corporate and finance transactions. Ms. Mazzini also worked as Legal Counsel for Alcatel, a large global telecommunication manufacturing company where her practice was broad-based.
Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee
Mr. Ted Munselle was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Spindletop Oil & Gas Co. on February 17, 2012. Mr. Munselle has been Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a landscaping company since October 1988. He is a Certified Public Accountant who was employed as an Audit Partner in two Dallas, Texas based CPA firms. Mr. Munselle is also a Director at two NYSE real estate investment companies. Mr. Munselle is determined to have all the credentials and qualifications to be an Independent Financial Expert and has been appointed as an Independent Financial Expert for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and has been appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
